FAQ’s About Skin Care and Makeup
Why Professional Products?
More bang for your buck! The world of skincare products can be very overwhelming to consumers. We are bombarded with advertising and enticed by fancy packaging, however, most clients come in with unbalanced and problematic skin. They are frustrated with their skincare regimen, it’s lack of results, and by what they have put out financially.
Department store, drug store, and multi-level marketing products are designed for the masses. These companies can only put a small amount of “active” ingredients in their products for safety reasons and consumers are using them blindly without the aid of a professional. They are being labeled as Dry, Oily, or Combo skin types without paying attention to underlying internal issues or lifestyle.
Professional skin care lines have the prescribed amount of active ingredients to treat a wide variety of skin conditions and are surprisingly more cost effective in the long run. Because they are formulated and administered by dermatologists and estheticians, they have a higher concentration of active ingredients and only require a small amount of product to work.
What is Electroporation?
Electroporation is the most effective non-invasive, needle free technology available to safely transfer skin care products into the skin. Electromagnetic waves modify the structure of the cell membrane thus creating hydrophilic pores (channels) through which products in aqueous solutions can surpass the skin bilayer. This process stimulates your skin to enable muscle toning, draining of liquids from intercellular space ,and the production of new collagen and elastin. The result is a visible firming and smoothing of the skin.
As we age, our own biological current slows and does not function as it should. Micro-current modalities replicate our own biological currents. That is why this treatment is such a safe alternative to some of the invasive and risky treatments on the market today. Most clients notice results immediately and others after 3-4 treatments. This modality works best cumulatively, and therefore a series of 8 to 10 is recommended. Once desired results are achieved, then only maintenance is required.
